Reading, good litereature, is basic to me. I am never bored or lonely in the company of literature, a book. It would be impossible within the narrow restrictions of the 2000 characters or less - with spaces and punctuation - to list all the authors I enjoy and have enjoyed, would and do gladly revisit. The patently obvious come to mind immediately of course: Shakespeare, Voltaire, Hugo, dostoyev... Wrought iron levers + lace + gallantry...
