Looking for a true mind meld

My favorite book is The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I love Russian novels and X-Men comics, but I am open to many different styles of writing. Other favorite authors of mine are Bret Easton Ellis, Anthony Burgess, and Julian Barnes.
