My favorite author right now is Nora Roberts and she also writes as JD Robb. She allows me to get away inside her books when I am unable to get away in the real world. Takes my mind off the deadlines, meetings and all that! In her books I can either be in the past, present or future - very diverse!

Anybody else out there think Godel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid was fun? As a child, I loved Roald Dahl and Shirley Jackson. My favorite book as an angst-filled, activist adolescent was The Strawberry Statement. As an adult I created a home library which features mostly nonfiction, I don`t read much fiction anymore. Currently on my bedstand is Fast Food Nation.
