I have been a reader since I was 10 yrs old & my mom helped me learn phonics. I picked up a book & have been reading non stop ever since. I'm into E- Books now, but still own so many paperbacks that I'll never give them up completely. There's something about holding an actual book in your hands while you read that is therapeutic in some ways.
