Read all day, talk all evening, make love all night

I want someone who can stimulate my body, heart, and spirit as well as my mind. I'm a published author of historical fiction that is topically relevant to our contemporary culture. My books are best-sellers in a number of countries, especially in Europe, and the talks I give highlight not only the characters and history in my books -- the history of Islam, and of its women -- but also other topics I feel passionate about: peace, religious tolerance; women's rights. I'm a woman with passion, energy, and verve. I read and think and dream and create not only for a living, but also for my own happiness. I respect knowledge and creativity as well as passion. I would love to find love in the guise of an attractive, intelligent, energetic, generous-hearted man or woman who has loves books as much as I do and who, I hope, has passion for not only reading but also for art, theater, dance, opera, rock and roll, and the blues. I'm a free spirit, a teller of tales, a dynamo on the dance floor, a peace activist and environmentalist, a feminist, a hater of labels, a connoisseur of wines and a gourmet cook. I don't care if my partner shares my interests -- I don't need to go fishing with you and I don't mind if you don't join me in the kitchen. But I do need someone who adores books and who loves not only to read them, but also to talk about them. The last book I read? "Wolf Hall" by Hilary Mantel, winner of the 2009 Man Booker Prize. The last books I wrote? "The Jewel of Medina" and "The Sword of Medina," hugely controversial historical novels about the Prophet Muhammad and his 12 wives and concubines. My ideal mate will be a reader, a lover of fun, a sensualist, a fireball of energy, a ponderer and self-analyzer ("The unexamined life is not worth living"), a talker, a listener, and a seeker of all the good things life offers. Stimulate my mind and my funny bone, and knows what will follow? It's bound to delight.
