Everyone's a nerd for something...

I've always been a little different. I love history. I love literature and graphic novels. I love Buffy, and Bones, Pirates of the Caribbean and Batman. I love to laugh, although people rarely get my humor unless they know me, or what I'm referencing, so that's why I'm here! Maybe I'll find friends, maybe something more, but as much as I love my idiosyncrasies, I'm tired of waiting around for others to love me too. Okay, that sounded needy. I'm trying to be pro-active here. I can be hard on myself - I'd like to find someone to keep me peaceful when I'm frenzied. I'd like to be the kind of friend, etc. who can do the same for others, too. I'd eventually like a husband, kids, a family, security, but none of that comes before happiness. Maybe I'll find someone to share that with here. Um... I'm a recent BA graduate (finally) in Theatre. I work in a library, which I love, but it's part-time and doesn't pay well. I'm in the process of rearranging my life post-degree, so we'll see what happens. I think eventually I'll end up living on the east coast again (NY?) but I need money first, so that's in the future. I love to write, and do a lot of reading, both books and graphic novels. I'm an unabashed super hero junkie. I'd love to write both novels and comics someday, too. As a theatre major, I'd also like to work in that field somehow, to be determined. I love anthropology, and any experimental anthropology shows fascinate me. I'm in a constant battle with my weight, but learning to love myself no matter what. I love food, but recently became a vegetarian, both for health and ethical reasons. I have nothing against meat-eaters though. My religious views are fairly unique. I don't smoke or do drugs, and don't like alcohol, although occasionally I imbibe - it's rare though. As I said before, what you do is your own business. So let's talk! This is me in 2000 words or less, which isn't much. I hate games, so I've tried to be honest. What about you?
