Points to you if you understand my screenname! I am a language nerd. I am fluent in French, and speak manageable Spanish, Italian, German, and Japanese. I am an academic, just finished my Masters in French Literature and will be studying in France '09-'10 for a second Masters degree through a scholarship. After that I would like to continue for my PhD...I am absolutely addicted to learning. I used to be a high school teacher but it didn't satisfy my need for continued learning. Now I teach college kids as a TA and I love it. As I am an avid traveler, I expect my soulmate to be nearly anywhere in the world, and will go to the ends of the earth to make it work with the right person. I have lived in Japan and France already, and would like to add to that list as I plan to someday be a professor and lead study abroad trips. I believe that travel is the single most important means of understanding each other as a human race. I am a nerd but still love sports and getting outdoors. I love skiing, both water and snow. I would make a great engineer, I like knowing how things work and fixing things, but I am terrible with math. I am a bit of a feisty tomboy, but I am feminine at the same time. My nerdy tendencies are languages, linguistics, literature, LOTR, Harry Potter, reading wikipedia for hours on end, writing, Classic NES, board games, Star Wars, playing with Legos, gardening, collecting Pixar toys, etc, etc...
