I've joined this site because I absolutely love to read, it's my favorite hobby and I'd love to have someone to share books with. I don't know many other people who enjoy reading, mostly just people who only go on the computer or play video games. I enjoy reading because it allows me to take a mental journey and I don't have to focus on my own life, no matter how crappy things may be. I can just curl up with my book and be completely absorbed. My favorite author is Augusten Burroughs and my favorite book is White Oleander by Janet Fitch.
